Bans don't work
Forbid the tools and usage doesn't stop. It moves to personal accounts and personal devices, where you have no visibility at all. 88% of employees with enterprise AI access also use personal AI tools for work (Gartner, 2026).
The risk lives in the prompt box
Once a prompt is submitted, it's beyond recall. It may be retained, processed by sub-processors, or used to train models. No policy document reaches into that moment.
So we act there, and teach there
Sensitive data is redacted before a prompt leaves your organization, and every catch explains itself in plain language. The work continues; the person learns; the data stays home.
The three protections
Educate people. Every stopped prompt explains, in plain language, what was flagged and why, turning near-misses into in-the-moment training.
Protect data, maintain productivity. Personal, health, and financial data is redacted before a prompt reaches the AI tool, and the sanitized prompt still gets a useful answer, so nobody routes around the control.
Protect IP. Source code, designs, and deal data never become subject to an AI provider's terms of use, preserving trade secrets, patentability, and confidentiality.
Built in Canada, for the obligations you actually carry
Sanitized AI Inc. is a Canadian company. The product is built fluent in the rules our customers answer to: PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, PHIPA, and the professional duties of regulated firms. It was not retrofitted to them.
A note from the founder
We started Sanitized Ai because the standard answer to AI risk (ban it, block it, hope) quietly fails the people doing the work. The teams adopting AI fastest are the ones closest to your most sensitive data. They don't need another policy PDF; they need a control that keeps up with them and teaches as it protects. That's what we're building.
