What Sanitized Ai is

Sanitized Ai is a browser extension for enterprise teams. It inspects prompts and file uploads (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF) sent to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity, and redacts sensitive data (names, emails, credit card numbers, SINs, health records, and proprietary information) before the prompt reaches the AI provider. Administrators see flagged event metadata only, never full prompt content. It deploys as a browser extension for Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox, with no infrastructure changes.

Data handling

• Administrators see flagged event metadata only: category, count, tool, time. Prompt content is not stored or shown, unless an employee chooses to report a false alarm. Then only the flagged text and up to about 400 characters around it are kept for review.
• Detection and redaction act before a prompt reaches the AI provider, the only point where control is still possible.
• Every policy event and every guardrail change is logged, with a tamper-evident copy; reports export for auditors, clients, and regulators.
